Objectives of the study programme specialization Logistics of Aviation
The goal of the specialization is to teach students apply modern methods of operation of airport infrastructure and operation of domestic and international traffic flows, to teach them to ensure the required transport reliably, which is one of the decisive terms mainly in international trade, and to ensure other accompanying services connected with transport. Students are educated to be able to apply the operation methods in small and medium sized companies engaged in airport operation and passenger and cargo transport. They may also work for firms and institutions with higher number of vehicles.
Scope of the Final State Exams
The Final State Exam consists of Bachelor thesis defense and oral exam. The oral exam includes two compulsory subjects; the third subject is opted out of assigned specialized professional subjects.

1. Logistics of Aviation (includes both passenger and cargo transport)
2. Airport Operation
Final State Exam optional subjects:
1. Airlines Operation and Economics
2. Crisis Management in Air Transportation
3. Airport and Air Transport Safety
The graduate's profile
The graduate gains theoretical knowledge and practical skills for airport infrastructure operation, airport economic activities, business operations in domestic and international air transportation of passengers and cargo.
In this professional specialization the student gains knowledge of precepts of law as well as technical standards, of regulations for take-offs, landings and connected aircraft movement, of aircraft protection and treatment, flight activities, security, airport security and fire service, of protection from illegal acts threatening the civil aviation, of airport maintenance and development in accordance with regulations set for the airport operation.
Graduates work as independent professionals in industrial and trading companies dealing with airport operation and other connected services, or as entrepreneurs in haulage and customs services. They can also hold the posts of traffic dispatchers, combined functions in sales departments of companies, posts of logisticians in logistic centers etc.
