Objectives of the study programme specialization Information Management
Information management is a specialization concurring with specializations Logistic of Transport and Logistics of Services in the sense that the graduates are educated to apply modern operation and information technologies in the field of logistics of both transport and services, as a transport of intangible activities necessary for an individual in society. The graduates are trained to work for small and medium sized companies and public administration institutions.
Graduates utilize their knowledge of modern information technologies to ensure the fault-free operation of smaller scope computing systems. That includes maintenance of computer systems, purchasing of computer technologies during innovations, server operation and server maintenance, computer networks broadening, servicing of computer technologies. One of the main objectives is to enhance usage of latest innovations in operation techniques and software products.
Scope of the Final State Exams
The Final State Exam consists of Bachelor thesis defence and oral exam. The oral exam includes two compulsory subjects; the third subject is opted out of assigned professional subjects

The graduate's profile
The graduate has a general social, cultural and ethics comprehension, he/she is assertive and capable to conduct common servicing of computer technologies. He/ she is a communicative, versatile specialist able to conform to specific conditions in various professions. He/ she received firm academic fundamentals and disposes with professional language skills to use in communication with foreign partners. The graduate possesses required legal awareness as well as organizational skills that enable him/ her to work in heterogeneous teams. He/ she is able to follow the latest professional developments through internet. He/ she can control or coordinate the processes necessary for system management. He/she can plan the innovations of information technologies and communication equipments in a company.
The graduate opts out subjects from the fields of mathematics and physics; therefore he/ she may continue studying informatics at technical universities also abroad.
Labour market
The graduate of this specialization is capable of operating and servicing information technologies in computer systems is smaller companies and institutions. He/ she adjusts common failures, installs new hardware and software products, and assists the users with implementing new applications. He/ she initiates utilization of new software for operations management.
